Prince is the best kind of confused. He weights 65 pounds but is wholeheartedly convinced that he is a lapdog. He's a pitbull that operates on the assumption that everyone - human, dog or otherwise - was put on this planet to be his friend and play with him. He's the survivor of horrific abuse and neglect, but still somehow approaches all things with heart, optimism, and enthusiasm as if he never suffered a day in his life. Prince was found crippled at nine months old last summer in a deplorable state of malnourishment and atrophy. His bones have healed, but luckily he hasn't lost his unique walk - everyone in our neighborhood loves watching Prince's dance moves as he comes down the sidewalk. He's truly a remarkable creature and we've been so lucky to foster him for these nine months while he's recovered his strength, gotten healthy, and learned house manners. Prince is now ready to find his forever family, and he would be a great addition to a household with other dogs and kids. Please contact Faith to meet this special boy (firstname.lastname@example.org or 646.673.2569).
