Cooper was found by Moreno Valley Animal Services.  He was badly matted and seemed to have been injured, perhaps by a moving vehicle.  Cooper has some loss of function in his rear legs (possible spinal trauma), but it has improved greatly in the last month and a half.  He still has some weakness, but can now run around quite well, though somewhat clumsily.  His veterinarian believes that Coop may continue to improve, but only time will tell.  Cooper has been through a lot, as you can see, and he is understandably a bit skittish these days.  He needs a person with a gentle touch  and a little patience to make him feel that everything's going to be ok.  Could that be you?  If you'd like to foster or adopt this sweet little boy, please fill out an application at norcalfamilydogrescue.org today.
