Don't let the stern expression fool you...this little girl is a sweetheart!  A little shy, Honeybun will come around if you offer her a treat.  She came to us unspayed and in rough shape-it looks like she's already had a litter at her young age- but has now been spayed and fully vaccinated. Honeybun is a diminutive pekingese-around 10 lbs, mellow and gentle.  She is okay with other dogs, LOVES every kids she meets, and is overall a very friendly girl.  She also LOVES treats! Her foster mom says she is both housetrained and pee-pad trained! If you'd like to meet her, please fill out an application at today!

How much does it COST to adopt?

Northern California Family Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation & rehoming of homeless dogs.  Our standard adoption fees are $300-400 for adult dogs and $350-450 for puppies, and occasionally more for rare or purebred dogs.   Your adoption fee includes DA2PP, Bordetella & Rabies vaccines, deworming, flea treatment & heartworm preventative, spay/neuter surgery, microchip &  Wellness Exam, & helps cover the costs of food, transport, veterinary needs, shelter maintenance and staffing for every pup in our care.   We rely solely on adoption fees and donations to keep us going, so we ask that you be as generous as you can!
