Jazmine is a sweet brindle boxer mix who we think is 7-8 years old.   She originally came from an animal hoarder and then was adopted by a lovely couple who have an older, arthritic Lab.  Despite falling immediately and totally in love with her charm and obvious intelligence, Jazzy wanted to dominate the old dog and they sadly realized she wasn't a good fit for their home.  Jazmine does well with dogs that are able to assert themselves with her--she was totally fine with the small terrier mix in the home.  She loves toys and learns very quickly.  She is  house-broken and while initially a little wary, responds well to humans who take their time.  Once she knows you, she is your pal and that's it!  Despite being middle aged, Jazzy is a fantastic walker and hiker and is in terrific shape. She loves being out and about and can go for hours on a good walk.  Jazmine is up to date on shots, microchipped and spayed. She also recently had her teeth cleaned and had her bloodwork done.  Jazzy  is full of personality and will make a great companion.  There are many advantages to taking on an older dog, the most important being that what you see is exactly what you get, there will be no mid-life change of personality nor any of the drama associated with a puppy or young dog!  Jazzy is  has plenty of love left to give.  If you'd like to meet her, please fill out an application at www.norcalfamilydogrescue.org.
